The vampire-themed survival game, V Rising, continues to entice players and passes the 2.5 million sales mark.
V Rising continues its momentum: after 1 million sales in its first week of release, the survival-vampire game is maintaining its success.
The game from Stunlock Studios surprised with its immediate and consistent success: 1 million players in the first week, and now a new milestone with 2.5 million sales.
At its release, the title had as many as 150,000 concurrent players on Steam, before naturally dropping to just under 10,000, a base sufficient to encourage the development of more content.
We learn that between June 17 and August 8, 500,000 copies of the game were sold worldwide. While teams are currently focused on improving the title and offering more content, it is not unlikely that a console release will be considered fairly soon.
